The Museum Blue Label brand of Brescia bank lake Garda D.O.P. extra virgin olive oil is produced on the western banks of Lake Garda. It is an attractive clear, golden yellow colour. The aroma is full and harmonious, with rich notes of artichoke, fresh meadow herbs and hints of basil and rosemary.
The taste is complex and elegant, fruity with an aftertaste hinting at artichoke and officinal herbs. Bitter and spicy, with a marked and harmonious character. It is excellent with raw fish carpaccio, steamed shellfish, mushroom soups, pasta and rice dishes with molluscs, baked fish, grilled white meat and moderately mature cheese.
